NOTICE

The 10th Mountain Division, LHDG Inc. Official Midwest Chapter, which has in the past sponsored the WW2 Reenactment Event at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union Illinois has terminated its working agreement with the Illinois Railway Museum to be the reenactment sponsor of this event for the 2012 program. There were many difficulties by certain museum personnel in cooperation, communication, logistics and with the willful damaging of a re-enactor vehicle by one museum volunteer.   Also, failure of the museum to honor our many requests to have our unit name and information listing us as a sponsor purged from their website has necessitated this action.

After unit discussion and vote, the 10th Mountain Division Midwest Chapter LHDG Inc.,

has terminated our sponsorship of the WW2 Days program at Illinois Railway Museum for the 2012 programs. 

THEREFORE BE ADVISED

All connections between the 10th Mountain Division LHDG Inc. Midwest Chapter, and the Illinois Railway Museum have been terminated and 10th Mountain takes no responsibility for any actions by the Museum in connection with this WW2 Days event, its program, advertisements, or scheduling.  This event is now under the sponsorship of the German 353rd Infantrie HRS.  Please contact them for more information. 

10th Mountain does not endorse this event.
